Agapé

In 1979 a dozen people gathered in the basement of Gary and Dureen Bradshaw and through a series of events and miracles, Agapé was born. Since then, we’ve opened our doors to hundreds looking for a safe place in God’s unconditional love. We hope you can visit us soon.

Nursery
Our nursery for 0-3 years old is available during the Sunday Service at 10:00 AM.

Children and Youth
Agapé Kids Church for kids begins after the singing/music (10:30 AM or when prompted). We have activity tables for older children in the Sanctuary for the duration of the Sunday Service.

Agapé Sundays
This is our 10:00 AM Sunday Service for all ages. Enjoy coffee and treats, worship music, and an uplifting message.

Agapé Wednesdays
Agapé Wednesdays are special event nights. They are scheduled periodically and can include potluck dinners, family nights, classes, guest speakers, and worship. Text 641-357-8014 for locations/updates.

Coffee with Friends
Coffee, goodies, and fellowship! Families welcome. (No childcare.) Days, times, and locations vary. Find us at the church, a host home or a local coffee shop in North Iowa. For updates, check Facebook or text 641-357-8014.

Outreach
Agapé Church is active in our community and all over the world. We support local programs as well as worldly missions. Spreading Father God’s unconditional love, Agapé has sent teams to Mexico, Canada, Ukraine, South Korea, Russia, England, Cambodia as well as numerous areas in the United States.

We believe that God is Love.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God.
  • The Bible is His love letter to us and the truth by which we live our lives.
  • We believe in the trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in accepting the gift of salvation (being born-again) provided to us in Christ, through faith, believing in, adhering to, and trusting in His life, death, burial and resurrection.
  • We believe the miracle-working power of God is available today.
  • We believe in water baptism for the believer as an outward declaration of the salvation experience.
  • We believe in eternal life for the born-again believer.
  • We believe Jesus will come again.

We are so thankful for the many helpful teams at Agapé. We use a team-based ministerial structure where there is no primary pastor. Instead, we have a team of ministers (called our Pastoral Care Team) available to the church body. Go to our Teams Page for more information.

We are located in the Heartland in Clear Lake, Iowa. Come see us!
