Pastoral Care Team, Administration and Ministry Departments
We are so thankful for the many helpful teams at Agapé. We use a team-based ministerial structure where there is no primary pastor. Instead, we have a team of ministers available to the church body. This is our Pastoral Care Team.

Dave has attended Agapé since October of 1981. Along with his wife, Nancy, they have 3 children and 10 grandchildren that keep them busy.
They enjoy going to their families activities and spending time with them.
An unexpected encounter with the unconditional love of God changed Christy’s life and ignited a hunger in her for more. Since that day, she’s been intentionally pursuing healing and a deeper relationship with Father God. She recently completed a certificate program in narrative focused trauma care through The Allender Center where she learned to open her heart to others and discovered common themes of pain we all share. Christy enjoys asking questions that invite others to experience more healing and a deeper walk with God. She’s quite witty and makes good use of her dry sense of humor.
A heart big enough to welcome everyone, seasoned by a love strong enough to withstand the harshest storm. Jenni’s shepherd’s heart is at work in filling the role of pastoral team lead, tumbling coach, and personal trainer, all with the common thread of encouraging others to accomplish their dreams. Jenni’s hope is for everyone to experiencethe unrelenting love of Father God.
Growing up in a Catholic family on a dairy farm, Mary Kay learned Christian values and the reward of hard work. A painful divorce led her seeking answers in life, ultimately coming to the belief that Christ paid the price for her sin and accepted Him as her personal Lord and Savior, becoming born again on March 19, 1986. She began to grow in her faith and relationship with Father God.
After four years, Mary Kay moved to Nashville and attended Faith is the Victory Church. While there, she was involved in street ministry, bible studies in the inner City, and prison ministry, where she shared the good news of Jesus Christ. She moved back to Iowa in 1999 and found Agapé in the phone book! She felt God leading her to Agapé, began attending, and developed a deeper walk with Father God, diving into the process of receiving Father’s love and giving it away. Her passion is intercessory prayer and ministering to others through prayer ministry, seeing lives transformed by God’s healing love.
